Meet the Team
Over the years, I've had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people through my work. As things have grown, I've begun collaborating with a small number of trusted practitioners whose values and approach feel closely aligned with my own.
We each bring different skills, experiences and perspectives, but share a commitment to supporting families with warmth, compassion and respect.
Here's a little about each of us.

BRYONY VICKERS MNCPS
Yoga teacher, Therapist,
Mothers' Mentor.
Founder of the Baby Village and
The Growing Together Village
Since becoming a parent at 23, I have been passionate about supporting people through pregnancy, birth and the transition to parenthood. My work combines counselling, yoga, community building and perinatal support, all rooted in a belief that we are not meant to navigate these experiences alone.
Alongside teaching pregnancy, baby and toddler yoga, I run Baby Village and Growing Together Village, creating spaces where parents can find connection, reflection and support.
Before moving into perinatal work, I worked in community engagement roles in Australia and the UK, supporting people to build stronger and more connected communities. That commitment to community remains at the heart of everything I do.
I approach all my work with an LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergent-affirming and anti-racist stance, and am committed to ongoing professional development and learning.

Midwife, Professional Midwifery Advocate
I am a registered midwife and Professional Midwifery Advocate (PMA), offering independent birth reflection sessions for parents who want to better understand their birth experience.
I previously worked at The Rosie Hospital, where I ran the Birth Afterthoughts service as a Band 6 midwife. I supported parents to talk through their births and worked closely with consultant midwives, PALS and midwifery managers, and perinatal mental health services around concerns, complaints, and complex care.
I now work independently, providing a calm, compassionate space to reflect on birth experiences. I support parents to understand clinical decision-making, make sense of their maternity notes, and explore their options for future births. While I am not a mental health professional, my work is grounded in trauma-informed midwifery care, and I have extensive experience sensitively and clearly explaining what happened from a medical perspective.
My practice is shaped by ongoing training in trauma-informed care, including regular attendance at Trauma in Birth and Marcé Society Perinatal Mental Health conferences. I am committed to equity, anti-racism, and providing safe, inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ families, and I receive regular professional supervision from an experienced counsellor.
More recently, I became a mum to my daughter, Marianne - an experience that has deepened my understanding of how birth experiences can stay with us, and how important it is to feel heard and supported.

dorka Nemes
Forest School Practitioner, Teacher, Advanced Wilderness Therapeutic Practitioner
Hello, I'm Dorka! I worked as a primary school teacher for nine years but I always felt that I wanted to work with children in a different way. When I discovered Forest School, I knew this was the right path to take. After completing my Level 3 Forest School Leader course, I began running Forest School sessions and started working as a Woodland Tutor in an alternative provision. And that is how Wild Wings was born! I am a passionate supporter of play-based learning and enjoy facilitating children's holistic development.
My love of the outdoors and interest in helping others improve their mental health led me to further train and qualify as an Advanced Wilderness Therapeutic practitioner. Wild Mothers was born out of this and I am really excited to introduce adults as well as children to the benefits of nature.
