A meet up for Bumps and Babies-in-arms at the Folio restaurant in the Fellows Hotel.
Time to chat, build friendships, and discuss motherhood and life with a baby.
This group is a great place to come out to as soon as you're ready post birth. Friendly, relaxed and a touch of decadence in the Fellows House (We usually have the lovely restaurant area to ourselves).
Come drink coffee, eat cake and chat about motherhood, or just come sit with others with no social expectations on you. I'm there for a chat if you have questions about babyhood/postnatal stuff too.
Many people use this as a 'practicing how to get out of the house on my own and feed/change my baby in public' space too in the early days.

It's very relaxed, so no problem if you arrive late.
If you're looking for it on Google maps, search for the Fellows House Hotel.
There is a revolving front door, but if you have a buggy go through the door of the cafe which is about 5 metres to the left of the revolving door.
Order and pay at the Cafe, and let them know you're with the mothers group in the restaurant. They'll deliver your coffee to the table. Then walk through the hotel lobby, past reception towards the pool table. Turn left and that will lead you into the restaurant. On warm days we sit outside, and on cold days we're inside. They will deliver your coffee to the table.
For parking, there are 2 options:
Gurney Way has lots of paid on street parking. I never have a problem getting a space there.
The Hotel has parking available too. You turn off Gilbert Rd into a small side road and then turn to the left to go into the underground parking. There will be a buzzer for reception to let you in. You tell them you're coming for a meeting in the folio restaurant. You come into the hotel through the elevator which bring you just next to the restaurant.
